In MC 2023 Electronic Communications, we were tasked with creating blogs, podcasts, audio and video features. It was an amazing opportunity to become familiarized with professional video and audio equipment to take on these projects. 

BRAND CONCEPT BOARD

For this project that was assigned in DHM 2423 Technology and Visual Communications for Merchandisers, I was tasked to create a concept board based on a certain brand. The overall purpose of this assignment was to inspire an upcoming trend direction for our chosen brand, which was Stella McCartney. I chose to focus on bold prints and patterns that would fit into the spring / summer season of 2020. I selected all of these photos and used my Photoshop skills to crop, distort, and cut all images.

PERSONAL BRANDING & LOGO

For this project in DHM 2423 Technology and Visual Communication for Merchandisers, I was tasked to create a mood board, logo, and print that depicts my personal brand. The mood board focused around the phrase "I am." I am independent, creative, artistic, colorful, and adventurous. I love travel, music, and culture and hope that my mood board can cultivate those interests. I used Photoshop to layer, transform, and crop these images.

I also created a logo, two signature prints, a letterhead, and a business card using Illustrator. My vision was to make everything flow and fit together. I stuck with the same color scheme throughout my mood board and personal branding concepts. I wanted to keep everything light and trendy, and I wanted to create something that would catch your eye the moment you saw it. My logo is complex but it is intriguing. It can be seen as an upside cactus. My business card is fun, young, but also looks professional. My two signature prints capture my logo and stars, as seen within my mood board. My letterhead is simple but professional and it captures the simplistic idea of what I was imagining. 

MAGAZINE

For this project in DHM 2423 Technology and Visual Communication for Merchandisers I was tasked with creating a magazine. My magazine was to include master pages, a feature pictorial, an article, ad, and a spread. I made my magazine unique with bold trends for the September issue of Bellezza, which translates to Beauty in Italian. I wanted my magazine to reflect calmness, but also to inspire anyone who will read it. I used my InDesign skills to work with type, layout, and images.

CAPSTONE CAMPAIGN

For my senior capstone for Strategic Communications, my group and I had the absolute privilege of curating a detailed campaign for Wings of Hope in Stillwater, Oklahoma. As a team, we worked hard to create a brand voice, curate an updated design guide and conduct research that will help Wings of Hope analyze competition, how to reach and engage with volunteers and how to market social media. Below is our full campaign book we represented to board members of Wings of Hope.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

In SC 3753 Strategic Communication Graphic Design & SC 4520 Informational Graphics, I had the opportunity to create multiple projects within the Adobe Suite. Projects included logos, design guides, businesses cards and more.

MEDIA EXAMPLES

SC 3353 Persuasive Writing utilized the creation of multiple media examples including media kits, fact sheets, news releases and more. Below are some examples.
